Always quite liked the guy, but if this means Chelsea start playing the gung-ho, attacking footie that Abramovich apparently wants then it could be a good thing. Interestingly, it was the fans that stuck the final knife in his back. For all they (usually) claim to love him, they stayed away in droves from Tuesday's Champion's League snooze-fest. |

simply bonkers 2 titles and a second never lost at home abramovich wants more he wants it to be exciting. well the two things dont always go together. abramovich like most extremely rich people thinks he can buy anythingbut he will find out he cant. well done to mourinho for walking away hopefully abramovich will get bored soon and chelsea can return to their rightful place as the biggest club in west london. |

Love it or loathe him, he’ll certainly be missed … truculent, manipulative, arrogant .. I’d take that over the bland media-trained type every time … And his record was pretty impressive too … His sacking clearly demonstrates that Abramovich knows zilch about football .. Plus, Chelsea at OT on Sunday .. I smell 3 points in the bag |

I heard that on the news and found it rather amusing that he told all the players via the means of communication that is the text message. It's almost as bad as dumping your wife via fax. |

Mourniho was great when he first came here. Genuinely funny. And he (or Abramovic's cash) broke the United/Arsenal duopoly of the Prem so it was briefly refreshing. The last couple of season's though he's become a paranoid, irritating, whinger, even worse than Purple Nose and Wenger. |
