Erm I'm surprised he's still there to be honest. If I'd found out my boss had gone behind my back to oust me, TWICE, then I'd probably walk 'n' all... poor sod ![]() |

in some ways it would be even more ridiculous than the mourinho situation. jol has done remarkably well to finish 5th twice (and rather unluckily miss out on 4th once). WSC remarked in its current issue that spurs' wage bill is less than half that of chelsea or man u, and 20% less than newcastle. jol has built a squad of young mainly british players who want to win. many other clubs look at them quite enviously. the spurs owners want more success for less money. its not going to happen. all the succesful clubs have continuity in management. |

I think Jol's done ok. The Spurs board are like their fans; think they have a divine right to success. At least the other similar sized clubs (Everton, City, Newcastle, Villa, West Ham, etc) know their place. |
[ ] Newcastle [ ]
What? Their fans harp on about Newcastle being a 'big club' despite the fact they've won cock all in 40 years or however long it is... Jol's done a great job, but I think the Spurs board were quite right to turn the pressure on given their financial outlay and say "look mate, we actually need to start winning things soon...". The way they went about it was an absolute disgrace and it's only through Jol's genuine good nature and love for the club that he's still willing to be employed by such a shower of cunts... |

Much as the Newcastle fans may irritate me with their Geordie Nation nonsense, history has at least taught them that they'll win sweet FA. |

I agree they’ve treated him appallingly, but he seems to have responded by making some atrocious decisions of his own this season. Taking Robbie Keane off during the Fulham game for example… He certainly isn’t doing himself any favours |
