It was most excellent. MLS were superb as were Irene but The Trudy were the surprise of the night with their bouncy 1980's power pop. My head was less forgiving the following day though. |

I thought Friday was cracking. I think I enjoyed Irene the most - although probably because I've seen The Manhattan Love Suicides 4 times - and it was the first time I'd seen Irene. Saying that I've never seen the Manhattan Love Suicides ever manage to be anything other than excellent. The Trudy were good also and Downdime were poppier than I thought they would be. So all in all, a top night. Drank way too much beer, mind. Still feel ropey today. And when Bovine finally got the chance the DJing was good. |
