Does anyone think it unreasonable to assume that if one were to turn up at a gig at the respectable time of half 8 one would expect to see some support bands? NME clearly does, 'cos NME puts on gigs at six fucking O fucking clock which meant that if one were to turn up at the frankly pretty early time of half 8 they would miss not one, not two but three fucking bands. The bastards. |

You shouldn't go to gigs with NME in the title. ![]() The laws of the land rant time. My friend nearly died in a car crash at christmas - she's a cover teacher and cannot work at the moment as she sustained quite a few injuries - why only yesterday they had to reset her shattered right arm which will be out of action for longer than that footballer with the funny nose who misses penalties. Anyway, is she getting help from the state? Of course not. She's just been turned down for incapacity benefit and has not had one penny of the state since December. Has she always worked? Yes. Is she going back to work? Of course, as soon as she can which wont be for a few months yet. Had it not been for supportive friends and family she would've died of starvation by now (and lost her house but we are covering the rent for her because they can't even sort that out for her) I have told her never to go back to work again. |

Council and rationale in the same sentence? ![]() She's written a letter asking them to explain their decision. They've said that she might be entitled to income support. The problem is this is more waiting/forms and no money coming in. I think they just want her to stop fighting and just rely on others around her till she goes back to work. Unfortunately she's also got temporary brain damage at the moment and this is not helping her mental state. Oh and I suppose I should mention that this is the same council that made her leave her last property so that they could house homeless kiddie fiddlers. Yep, you read it here first - they made teachers leave a property (promising to house them in adequate replacement shelter - please don't make me go into the political bullshit that went with it) so that nonces could have a home - they made teachers 'homeless' to house...couldn't make it up. |

God knows, westie. Anyway, apologies as I said the 'n' word and we must show the utmost respect to a certain section of society who ruin lives and are nursed by the authorities till their dying days (which don't come quickly enough) For the record i'd **** ****** *** **** - that's called censorship in a free speaking country. P.S - how come when one speaks the truth one is verbally trampled on? And Fernando, do not attach his name to mine. I'm disappointed in you. |
