Black Time is the best lp record ever. The Monks only ever UK appearance at the Dirty Water, a couple of years back was fantastic. Age hadn't mellowed them one little bit. R.I.P. Monks banjo player Dave Day, who passed away earlier this month. The Nuns, excellent all female Monks covers band play The Cave Club at The Buffalo Bar Saturday 23rd Feb and The Dirty Water Club at the Boston Arms, Tuffnel Park on Friday 29th. http://www.myspace.com/itsnuntime |
