I'm not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had a close call today. I walked into B&Q at lunchtime and some old guy dressed in a black shirt with an orange apron on asked me if I wanted decking. Fortunately, I got the first punch in and sorted the bastard out. Those less suspecting might not be so lucky so pass this warning on...

Yeah, I was there the other week and when I walked in a bloke dressed similarly, asked me if I wanted a punch in the face.
Luckily I was after a device to make an indentation on the front of the Grandfather clock I've been restoring, so it all ended happily.

I ended up back there again, and the same fella told me he was gonna 'knock my head off'. This was hugely convenient, as my claw hammer's handle indeed had a nasty split down it, and needed replacing. Could have hurt someone...
