Just got back, I think it's the best British festival I have ever been to. It was absolutely irrelevent who played as the music isn't the lure. Must sleep now though! |

Any festival that builds a full size pirate ship then fills it with fireworks and has flaming archers making it explode at the half way point of the festival gets my vote. I can't begin to do this festival justice and I'd only make it sound like Hoxton attention seeking try-hards having a field trip but it was truly the spirit of the people and the amount of effort they had put in that made this beyond great, man, ahem. |

have spoken to loads of people who have been. Did anyone actually watch any of the bands cos all the folk I know were too busy doing random things??? Everyone raved about it especially the pirate ship. |

We had 4 bands playing and, whilst there were people watching them in decent enough numbers, they were just another attraction rather than the main spectacle for people. Heartily recommend going to everyone, even though it will then lose the charm with loads there but I think it's capped at 6,500 attendance wise. |

I went to SGP about 3 or 4 years ago. It was a lovely festival. Beautifully set. But the music, for the most part, was dire. So I left with mixed feelings to be honest. |
