People are just running out of names...and it's a complete lie that we're changing our name to the 'Firth of Fifth'. We haven't covered any unashamedly prog-influenced music since Yeasayer and Cats in Paris. And anyone who flaunts their Yes or Genesis references will be shown the door, sharpish! I think you're too harsh with the Furnaces. There is genius on every album although Rehearsing My Choir was a concept too far. Matt F does overthink his musical ideas though (but he's still not 'progressive'...) |
