I'm afraid I had a listen to Keaton Simmons (how come all these useless f***ers have similar names? Newton Faulkner, Keaton Simmons, Jason Mraz...). It was as you'd expect. Pseudo-bluesy, faux emotional toss. Utter, utter... dunno. The kind of sh*te that girls and their boyfriends cuddle up to, at an 'intimate' venue (y'know, so you can REALLY feel what Keaton's saying and feeling, y'know?) whilst sharing a bottle of a slightly more expensive red, feet tapping, moronic, vacuous heads nodding along to the 'from the heart' lyrics... It's strange, that bland, bland awfulness so lacking in 'real' emotion or originality should make me so angry. I hate this. And I hate the people that like it. But it's all alright, really, 'cos I'll never, ever listen to it again. And, as Flowered Up once sang, 'I'm hating you - and I hate hate... goodbye' |
