I'm not a big fan of me best of's but some I think can provide an ideal introduction to someone's work I have to say... Simon and Garfunkel - Tales from New York Kinks - Singles Collection Leonard Cohen - Greatest Hits (the first one... not an ideal compendium by any means but, again, a good introduction to his early work) Neil Young - Decade (I mean... buy the albums, of course, but this is cracking) Queen - Greatest Hits I (seriously, you can't have a CD collection without this in it...) Everyone needs a Motown best of too... everyone. |
