this isn't a street team post, i promise! i used to post here with a different name, in fact. i dunno if you guys have heard of Wavves yet? i recently discovered him, and i think this band/guy is one of my favourite internet discoveries, ever. i stumbled upon his page by total chance, i didn't even know it was a band page! and i literally couldn't believe how good his songs and sound are. some of his songs are actually genius. he functions with what seems to be a fairly strict diy ethic. so his recordings are rough. but this only adds to the power and energy. if you like anything about Sonic Youth, JAMC, The Wipers, Nirvana, Daniel Johnston, The Beach Boys or just pop music in general, you should give his songs a try - www.myspace.com/wavves |
