I went to see the Spin Doctors at Brixton Academy and they were bloody awful. Unfortunately it appears we saw them when they were promoting their piss poor 2nd album and so 90% of the set was made up of that. The saving grace was that for some unknown reason Roger Daltrey joined them on stage for the encore. I also saw the Buzzcocks a few years ago during one of their comebacks. I think it was at the Astoria. The support band were These Animal Men who were excellent, sadly a lot better than the Buzzcocks who were clearly only there for the money. Shame on them. |

itguru Were The Libs the main band that night? Sure I saw the Buzzcocks support them at the Astoria. The Libs chucked their grenadier jackets into the crowd at the end. |
