Would have to agree with these observations - included in the '10 tracks' section this week are Camera Obscura and the Wave Pictures, so there seems to be a bit of hope left. Was chatting about NME with pals last night, general consensus was that it'd be a shame for it to disappear altogether, having been a huge part of our collective musical coming-of-age back in the day. Just needs to get back to basics, one of the things that routinely hacks me off is the wheedling sycophancy surrounding 'greats' such as Muse, Radiohead, Coldplay, Oasis, etc. What does 'NME' stand for again...? |

May be something in this - they gave a corking review to the fab Storsveit Nix Noltes album, which will have zero appeal to the carling and Shockwaves crew... |
