i went to the record store day at Rough Trade East - coming towards the shop there were hordes of people milling around with Rough Trade bags implying they'd actually bought something! Blimey! The shop was a really nice atmosphere...loads of people milling around, having tea, having beer (um!)...we saw Let's Wrestle - they were really brilliant! They've improved loads and they did a prog-rock freakout at the end. Hurray! We managed to miss everyone else cos we were out flyering (HAVE A FLYER! YES! YOU! HAVE A FLYER! GOOD! YOU CAN GO NOW!) and playing with our friends...Other bands were Betty And The Werewolves (11 in the morning! just couldn't make it...must sllllleeeeeeeeeeeeep), Sunny Day Sets Fire, My Sad Captain, Joe Gideon and The Shark and some others........... |

Lest I forget, I should fly the flag for Rounder Records in Brighton - cracking shop, friendly staff, etc. To my shame though I do tend to acquire my music via cheaper websites these days, but if I were to go shopping, etc.... |
