hurray!: someone gave me a ticket for camden crawl! boo: i can only stay til about 9pm cos i have to do something else... boo: stupidly i turned up at 2pm not realizing it wasn't an all-dayer boo: cos it's stupidly early no one i know has come out to play yet... boo: this includes any promoters i might be able to go and play with hurray!: spent ten pounds in the 99p shop. bounty my lovers! Golden bounty! hurray!: Got a classic vintage St Michaels skirt in the charity shop (having been last one who made it through the door before the gate-keeper denied Camden goths entry). hurray!: Dublin Castle in plenty of time to see Fight Like Apes play! boo: My wristband has either dropped off or BEEN STOLEN! hurray!: get offered another ticket! boo: not time to go back and exchange it for wristband... hurray!: meet jim bugbear who will try and smuggle me in... boo: Over-officious bouncers have caused a mini-crosspants crowd riot and Jim is having trouble getting into his own venue let alone get me in. Damn. Didn't see a single band! boo: Fusspot pickyarse cat didn't like the super-posh backofalorry cat food i got her in 99p shop and i carried them tins round for hours! |

Hehe. Top class buffoonery, Delia. My day was spent nursing a hangover from the night before and figuring out how to fix my threadbare trousers after a drunken tumble the night before. But I did have a bagload of 99p booty too to peruse. My local shop sells a CRATE of 12 bockles of limeade for 99p. They're two litre bockles! It's madness I tell ya! |

Historically I've got it all wrong with Camden Crawl by buying a ticket and actually going... Been twice and both times I've sworn never to set foot in North London again afterwards... |
