Way too much effort. Walk into chippy. Give fat man £1.50 Sprinkle half a ton of salt and gallons of vinegar over bag contents Eat while stumbling down street |

Roasted (New) Vs Chippy Chips for me. It would be a final to remember, with neither side deserving to lose....but as the night draws to a close, with the alcohol consumed and beer blankets donned, Chippy Chips takes the title. If certain members of the Cheesy World Cup were allowed to consult with Mash, then they'd certainly be in with a shout too. |

Also - ALSO - Fish n Chips are served awfully IMHO. Ask any proper, er, Chipper, and he'll tell you that you should put the Vinegar on first. That way the Salt sticks to the chip. Lovverly. But because it's described as Salt n Vinegar, it's instinct to put the Salt on first, which then gets washed off by the Vinegar, ending up in a pretty delectable pool in the bottom of the bag.... Jeez, this is making me hungry... Shall we all go out and get pished up tonite then have Fish'n'Chips?!? Blame it on the Tube strike...? |

Flippin 'eck, Chimes. For the first time ever you are talking sense and it took a discussion about chippy takeaways for it to come out. You are so goddamn right. I do always stick salt on firat and it does always get washed off by the vinegar. I feel such a chump. It must be like how born again Christians feel when they wake up one day realise they need something tedious and self-satisfied to do on a Sunday morning and become a God botherer. |
