Weren't we sort of praising their revamp not so long ago? Maybe that wasn't young Connor's doing after all.... |

Thank fuck. For any reason? Anyway, I'm extremely pleased he's a horrible cynical man who's turned NME into a horrible cynical magazine. I know it's never been perfect exactly but when I started reading the thing it had people like At The Drive-In and Mercury Rev on the cover now and then and wasn't written in a tone that suggested their target readership was educationally subnormal and attention-deficit 14 year olds. Which even though I was a 14 year old at the time I appreciated. Once again thank fuck, hope he goes off to work in advertising, the career he was clearly destined for. That's if he doesn't get run over by something large which I would also welcome. |

Everett True said he (McNeil) was going to edit Top Gear magazine. That might not be true. |

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/berk ... 176620.stm So she worked under CM, so will the NME be more brand heavy same old same old? Or can it change? |
