I've noticed that there's a bit of a retro vibe going on with this board. Minge Puppet dresses like a She Loves You Beatle and plays in a whimsical 60s pop band. Simon Love dresses like a psychedelic popster and his band play fluffy 60s garage. Milchman doesn't dress the part but refuses to acknowledge that any music has been produced since 1965. Delia's a little 60s poppette and plays in bands that reflect this. Chimes looks the part but seems to have hung up his Gibson Fernando has a 50s smoothie look Bazza's got the 2 tone skin look with scooter and band to match Not seen pix of Nick Jansky but I get the impression there's summat rock n roll going on Jose's another 60s garage punker with a look to match There's a washed out old punk in Bananas and Iggy Pop gone new romantic in Pink Gingham Kid Vodka-Volauvant looks like Bryan Ferry crossed with Blakey off On The Buses with a bit more fag ash thrown in for good measure. And his missus is Poison Ivy from the Cramps. And, er, I look like I was booted out of Squire in 1982 for being too scruffy and have been decomposing since I've probably forgotten someone but it's frankly worrying. Even The Kidz look like they're 60s New York boho beatnik poets - Westie, Tim and Wurzel... Where's the nu ravers? Trev? |
