Not Corrie or Mike Skinner's alias but the grizzly but gripping series of dramas every Monday night that features a different character living in a Manc terraced street. It's very good, with some cracking acting though McGovern always tries too hard to turn the plot around from an endless stream of hardship to a happy ending. Mind you the one with Bob Hoskins playing Bola in one episode just went to show what an appallingly limited actor he is. |
