Reading some of the comments posted after the article, it's another example of damned if you do/don't for Brown. If he does, he faces a barrage of 'apologise for all your mistakes, you liar/swindler/incompetent...', etc. If he doesn't then he's lambasted for allowing a 50 year old miscarriage of justice to go unchecked. Personally I reckon he deserves to be hauled up for writing for the f*****g Torygraph... As for Turing, long overdue - the shame is it's taken so long

The press have got in for Gordon something chronic. They have ever since he chickened out of the general election back in ummmm whenever it was. He made the press look stupid and they've never forgiven him. He's been a dead man walking ever since The Sun decided they were gunning for him. Christ i've just spend 5 minutes on The Sun website trying to find the headline I heard on the radio this morning re: "Gordon Smells of Poo" or whatever today's big political insight was... trying to find actual news there is quite a challenge. |
