They're one of those bands that have passed me by, though I can't bring myself to be too bothered about it? Bit of a coup landing JM, but can't help but be wary of possible unsubtle, and slightly desperate, gimmicks - bit like the 'celebrity couple' thing with Kate Nash (and associated episodes, like beating up her hecklers). They seem to be better known for being known than anything else, but, having said that, I'd be happy to be proven wrong with a corker of an album... |
