There’s a tendency for old bands to start touring again and artists you thought had given up to come forward with new material. What do we think of this? Dylan, the Who, the Rolling Stones are all into their 60s and still touring, as their hip replacements allow. Mott the Hoople have just done some reunion shows with their 72 year old lead singer! We saw Bob Lind back on stage at end of the Road for the first time in about 35 years. And the Zombies are literally zombies these days. Is rock’n’roll just a young man’s game or is geriatric rock acceptable? |
