#1 - How am I supposed to find out anything about the band on that? |

#2 - - it depresses me that I still have to go on there; it's so clunky and slow. They're trying so hard to be a Facebook/Twitter/ Spotify hybrid but they're failing hard which makes it incredibly frustrating to use. It's a ghost town, the only people left on there are people in bands incessantly and desperately pleading for the long gone MySpace community to 'Listen to my band!' It needs shutting down. |

The new national rail site is a pain in the butt. The fields for filling out your start and end stations have help text in them pre-filled that doesn't automatically disappear when you click in the field box. Grrrr! Mind you, at least that site isn't sick... |

I still don't really understand (barring the HUGE government pushes) the popularity of facebook over myspace. I mean, they seem to me to be exactly the same, only you can hear music on myspace. They both have a 'news feed' function (though i do resent using the term 'news' when 'superfluous drivel' and, at best, 'plug' are far more accurate). They both have a 'headline' function. They are both (I think) accessible by mobile. They both have a 'group' function. They both offer a limitless storage photo album function where you can 'tag' your friends/associates/victims etc. Barring the transient factor of the actual webpage's current design I can't see what's different other than you can listen to music on myspace. You can stop bands from adding and even messaging you on myspace, so the spam problem doesn't really stand (in fact, as facebook's popularity has been pushed I actually get more spam on that now...). Is it an emperor's new clothes situation, or am I missing something? Probably the latter, as I'm firmly in the minority it seems. I remember around 1990 I had a Gameboy, I loved it. The following years other handheld consoles came - the Atari Lynx, Sega Game Gear - and became more popular for times. But I never felt they were as simple, or as effective or fun as the Gameboy. And it's almost the same feeling as that. |

MySpace actually added loads of it's similar features after Facebook came up with them. IMO MySpace is worse simply 'cos if it's amazingly annoying ability to shove dreadful, tacky adverts in your face on every page. And it's dead slow as well. |

I agree, MySpace is dead slow. However while I rarely log in to facebook (because it's basically boring and far too many people seem to use it as a virtual farm) I use myspace frequently to listen to new music. The big problem I have with MySpace is that I lose so much time, I can spend two or three hours easily in one session. |
