Despite my current listening diet of early Spacemen 3, middle Spacemen 3 and late Spacemen 3, interjected with Spiritualized, Can, Neu! and Kraftwerk, my latest Thee SPC release is so anorak wearing, shandy sipping, indiepop that I just had to 'fess up. Sorry. ![]() |

I must confess, I saw the band name and song "I Don't Like You ('Cos You Don't Like The Pastels)" and thought this was a joke...Is it?! |

![]() Nah, they're for real. Obv that one's a bit tongue in cheek, but they're really good imo. Certainly a lot more to them than that one song. |

This Many Boyfriends EP came out today. Sold quite a few of the CD/fanzine/badge packs on pre-order (I do this website thing where you can get the download immediately when you buy the cd.) In fact, had so many pre-orders that I've actually broken even before the release date. Hurrah! Sad, but true - I've sold more copies to shop in Japan than are being stocked by shops in the UK on sale-or-return. And I'm down to four stockists Rough Trade/Piccadilly/Jumbo and Norman. ![]() The END is nigh! Anyway, you can hear this new EP on spotify if you fancy : |
