Culled from the above. Scooby Doo - the verse is catchy, but it's the middle 8 where this song really takes off. It was this tune, and not Sgt Pepper, that drove Brian Wilson mad. He knew he'd never be able to better it. Why Don't You...? - the whole of indie music is based entirely on this song. Rubarb and Custard - insane lo-fi classic. Possibly recorded by Captain Beefheart. Joe 90 - pulsating bass riff, strange machine noises; clearly a direct influence on Unknown Pleasures. Spiderman - is he strong? Listen, bud: he's got radioactive blood. Genius! |
