When it was in Wardour Street: Marillion (a number of times) Pallas Genesis Secret gig in 1982 UFO And a memorable evening seeing the film 'Pink Floyd live at Pompei' in the little cinema further down Wardour Street and coming out in a soporific daze and going straight in to see Twisted Sister at the Marquee. When it moved to Charring Cross Road I was sent there to photograph Obituary. I chose wisely to stay upstairs and to see why look at a video of the gig here |

Walking past the Wardour Street one and being invited in to a secret Police gig. I declined the invitation (obviously), but the guy just took this as me not believing him and kept insisting that he wasn't pulling my leg. |
