I heard Undertow by Warpaint for the first time on the radio yesterday, does anyone know if it's a cover? It sounds really familiar, especially the line What's the matter/You hurt yourself Open your eyes and there was someone else but I've googled it and can't find anything to suggest it is? |

As noted elsewhere, don't think it's a cover, but it's a good job the dead can't sue, cos it sounds exactly like Polly by Nirvana. Or one of them off of Nevermind -with a touch of Suzanne Vega in the chorus. |

so yeah, they're on the front cover of the NME this week and the album, which 'everyone' has been creaming themselves over, has apparently been knocking around for many many years. One of them used to go out with an ex-smack addict Chilli Pepper so clearly has poor taste in men. So, what's the verdict on the album? I've listened to it a couple of times and found it a little underwhelming, maybe that'll change after repeated listens. Why am I even bothered? Who's the president? |

I had a listen to this song... It don't half drag on. It's nearly 6 bleedin minutes long. I'd had enough after about 3. |
