How many people here have a dedicated music streamer? I am looking at treating myself to one so I can stream from the PC, which is in an out building, into the house. I know of SONOS and Squeezebox leaning to the former because it supports Spotify. Are there any others? What's your experience/recommendations etc. Any decent guides on the net? |

Sonos is amazing. Don't use anything else - it just works and works brilliantly. |

Bit confused about SONOS. Been looking at the S5 - do I need to buy the controller separately? |

S5 came along after I got my setup sorted, so not sure, is my honest answer. My set up is two Zone Players (120's) (Living Room and Bedroom) with amp included and seperate speakers attached toeach Zone Player. One NAS storage box, so PC doesn't need to be on. One Touch Screen Controller and one iPhone app (free) controller. I believe S5's are a bit more like iPod docs, or something, but I've not really read much about them, because I don't need them. |

After reading, I reckon you'd need a controller with S5. I've got the CR200 and it was also the reason I got an iPhone, as it was cheaper than buying 2 controllers! |
