Yep, Odd Box is turning two and to celebrate this I've decided to organise a special weekender - full of pop fun, noisy goodness and the odd curve ball, too. It started out as an all dayer - but it kinda made sense to make a weekend of it.

The Odd Box Weekender
Saturday 7th May - 3pm-late - Brixton Windmill, free BBQ. £8adv / £10 door
Sunday 8th May - 3:30pm-9:30pm - Dalston Victoria. £6adv /£7 door

The line up is still being confirmed, but if it all falls into place I am gonna be extremely happy and I hope people will be too. I'll post more details in a few weeks as soon as it's 100% confirmed.

There will also be a special Weekend Pass which will cost £12 for the early bird buyers. It'll be £14 regular price. Tickets are going on sale on Monday 21st February from We Got Tickets.

Playing the Saturday:

The Wendy Darlings are coming over from France - which makes me so happy as it should anyone that has been lucky enough to see them on their previous two visits to London. Powerpop, good enough to eat.

And on the Sunday we've got the amazing tinkly pop of Haiku Salut. Haiku Salut are Gemma, Sophie and Louise. They use accordions, organs, ukeleles, glockenspiels, pianos and loop pedals to create a haunting sound. Some people might know them from their former band, too.

and two more because I am hungover:

The Sweet Nothings will be playing the Saturday.


And Horowitz will be playing the Sunday.

On Saturday I am delighted to announce that we have The Blanche Hudson Weekend and Blood Oranges.

And to add to the Sunday bands we've got The Understudies.

And on the Sunday we've got One Fathom Down and Help Stamp Out Lonliness who will be launching their debut LP on Wiaiwya Records.

Saturday 7th will see Ace Bushy Striptease play and on the Sunday 8th we'll have Sock Puppets over from Denmark.
