Just thought of Cordell Jackson (nèe Miller), who owned the Moon record label in Memphis in the 1950s and as well as song writing and performing, produced and engineered most if not all Moon releases. So after a few days we've only managed to come up with a couple of reasonably well known female producers and a couple of obscure ones. Overall it seems there aren't many at all. Odd. |
