Grandstand - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSP1E04zp5Y What a theme tune. Brings back sweet memories of being a little boy excited about an afternoon's sport on the old television there... and then realising the programme was filled with Rugby League, Equestrian and Touring Cars. Oh well. BBC Snooker - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quVWbuYW ... re=related |

I Could be so Good for You, the Minder theme! About twenty of us once drunkenly sang this in a Slovenian bar at the tops of our voices, the locals didn't have a clue what hit them! |

Totally with Anarchy on The Persuaders and The Protectors, I play those very regularly. I spent a fortune on old TV themes albums in the 90s. Most of my faves are old classics: Doctor Who Man In A Suitcase Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) Space 1999 The Champions Roobarb Magic Roundabout I do get nostalgic about old news theme tunes too - like the early evening BBC news from the 70s and ITN's News At One and News At Ten. I'm just old, probably. |
