Why don't bands ever sell jumpers as merch? They all do t-shirts but no one does jumpers. I don't mean like Slipknot hoodies or whatever, actual proper jumpers. That's what I want. Or coats. |

Or cummerbunds? Or corsets? They just haven't thought it through. |

A definite gap in the market. Just had to pop out and it was raining. Really wished I has an Echo & The Bunnymen mac to wear. There's a gap in the market that's there to be exploited. Can you actually get Joy Division oven gloves? I bet they'd sell like mad. |

Of course you can. How could I have doubted it. |

For the small matter of about £100, Justin Townes Earle is doing some natty bow ties if you pre-order his new album. |

That's the kind of thing I'm after! Well, I don't wear that kind of stuff but it's a step in the right direction. |

The problem is that T-Shirts are dirt cheap to produce & you can make a massive profit off them. Enough to fund a tour. Supply & demand. You can get Andrew Bird socks though: |

Yeah I'd go for one. I also live in band t-shirts (Yo La Tengo today) and any crap I get from the charity shop. I rarely buy clothes. Most of the stuff in my 'wardrobe' is about a decade old. |

Love this thread. I still have the two cool kids blowing bubblegum logo badge. I'd like tea cosies of bands and sugar paper logos of bands to place upon my cupcakes. For me it's all about mixing domesticity with music. The dream is to have a Pulp covered couch so that I can sit on Jarvis continuously but i'd break him in the end. |

Tom Williams & The Boat have got the right idea. You can now get TW&TB beer and cake. |

beer has been done by the masters of merch tat BSP they have had everything from kendal mint cake to soap made by band members to brilliantine to give your hair that authentic 1940s look. my favourite are still the pencils bearing the legend 'exceeding the national average' |
