I see the BBC has a new logo featuring all the players who doubtless will have an impact at the tournament. Oh, and Steven Gerrard. Here's to a feast of football! (England being that grisley bit you leave at the side of the plate.) ![]() |

Coming up quite soon innit? I was doing a predictions thing and found from predicting individual games that I had England down for three first round draws and an early return home... |

Change Scholes for Gerrard around the hour mark. |

I'm excited about both. But that's because I don't live in London. I'd probably hate it if I did. We've just had a world rowing event here which trebles the population of the islands for a weekend and I can't fucking stand it. |

What with the tour, the cricket, wimbledon, F1, the rugby league and the speedway season, I don't have space this summer to get excited about the Euro's or the Olympics! |

England squad for Euro 2012: Goalkeepers: Joe Hart (Man City), Rob Green (West Ham), John Ruddy (Norwich) Defenders: Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Man United), John Terry (Chelsea), Joleon Lescott (Man City), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Leighton Baines (Everton) Midfielders: Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Stewart Downing (Liverpool), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Gareth Barry (Man City), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Scott Parker (Tottenham), Ashley Young (Man United), James Milner (Man City) Forwards: Wayne Rooney (Man United), Danny Welbeck (Man United), Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham) Standby players: Jack Butland (Birmingham City), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea). OK, I may be an Everton fan, but Glen Johnson, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson ALL in the squad. What a joke! Dreadful. |

Agreed. I'd have Crouch and Carrick in there without hesitation. |
