This: Which I can't really recommend enough. Wonderful book. Rather pathetically, I've resisted reading the last few pages... because if I do it will over. Started this before getting distracted by the above: Which I'm looking forward to going back to. |

On the front it says "books I nearly read". I can jion in with that as in the past 6 months I've nearly read Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Buddhism Without Beliefs, The Greatest Show On Earth and Bad Vibes. |

Currently reading The Death Of Sweet Mister by Daniell Woodrell. Only 50 pages in, but really liking it. I'd recommend anything by him. Other recent reads: Please Kill Me by Legs McNiel & Gillian McCain an oral history of US punk. Virtually everyone in it comes across as really horrible, but well worth reading. City Of Sin: London & It's Vices by Catharine Arnold. A history of sex in London by the author of Necropolois: London And It's Dead and Bedlam; London And It's Mad. The whole trilogy is very highly recommended. |

I recently read "Das Boot", which was all kinds of good. Then I asked my missus to suggest one and she gave me "Pompeii " by Robert Harris which I also very much enjoyed. I'm currently reading "The Witches" by Roald Dahl, as chosen by my son. |

Just finished Skagboys, the prequel to Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh. I didn't hold out much hope but actually it was really very good |
