Yes! The time is almost upon you. THE LOVES BACK FROM THE DEAD... at the Betsey Trotwood on Farringdon Road (opposite the Grauniad building) EC1 on Sunday the 31st of October. It's a Halloween thing. There may be dressing up. There will be fake blood. Also playing are Dustin's Bar Mitzvah and And What Will Be Left Of Them? It begins at 7.30 with the first group on 8.15 or so. £5 on the door or £4 with one of my badly photocopied flyers that should be about the place soon. There'll be more details in the next few days... |

Fantastic news, Simon de l'amours. Is it pay on the night cos it's only a little venue? We'll be there for sure. In fancy dress, I'm not so sure. btw, you were spotted at the Pleasure Unit last weekend. How's the album coming on? |

Yes, it's pay on the night. And yes, I was at the Pleasure Unit last Saturday going all soppy over the Schla-La-Las...(ahhh the Vicki...if only she knew) and then doing some bad dancing before having to retire to our new bassists house due to a bad head caused by the buzzing PA and vodka. I was doing some of that recording during the day. Or rather I was directing Dave the drummer in his drumming. All is coming on well. Back to do more drum recording in November then it'll be polishing polishing polishing in Dec/Jan and hopefully a summer release. It sounds very summery. There is a song called "Summertime". That's how summery it is. |
