To be fair to Muse, whilst it is difficult to analyse them in isolation to a lot of their music, they are an incredible live band. Saw them a few times when I was a fan when I was younger and they really are exceptional.

The Strokes, on the other hand, have always been terrible live.

I presume NME's average readership age must've risen drastically in the last few years for so many of them to have seen Hendrix and Zeppelin in their pomp. Interesting...
