Played on a thousand chart records! His wikipedia entry (ihttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Jim_Sullivan) is amazing - he played on the James Bond theme, Alvin Stardust's Jealous Mind and Matt Bianco's Get out of Your Lazy Bed and at least 997 others (Benny Hill, Cilla, Peters & Lee...). And he played on Gainsbourg's Histoire de Melody Nelson, for which we have to doff our chapeau to him. Great guitarist but a chronic workaholic! |
