How many of them do you have. 62 for me though I suspect I'll never play half of them ever again. |

I actually own only 25 but I know a lot more of them than that. I rarely play physical copies of music now. |

I'm refusing to do it. I listen to good albums not arbitrarily influential ones. Illinoise my arse. |

There's some great stuff in there too. Glad to see Pelaton by The Delgados there. A big personal favourite. And stuff like Astral Weeks - I love that album but I don't own it. I should probably sort that out. |

How the heck did Bloc Party get in that list? |

I thought that was odd. I never really got into that album. Some tracks were OK. I suppose it has influenced a lot of modern British guitar bands though for better or worse. |

At a quick glance I owned about 10, something I'm pretty proud of |

I'm not doing it because I hate facebook applications that say 'allow access to your profile'. I would imagine I've got about five if that. Thought I saw nick drake on the front page of it and hope he is in there because he was rather wonderful, god love him. |

Surely that first Libertines album should be in it 'cos of the annoying fact that it spawned a shit-ton of god awful gutter punk bands. That's influence for you right there - often a terrible thing. In fact, that first bloody Mumford and Sons album should be in there too for the same reason. A friend of mine who runs a rehearsal studios says that all the young bands come in an play Mumford songs. Bleak. |

39 for me. Couldn't be any more indifferent. Some of the albums they've selected are mental. I Am Kloot - Gods and Monsters? Now I Am Kloot are brilliant but, come on... Plenty of prog in there 'n' all. No wonder Bovine scored so highly... ![]() |

Also, given that hip-hop has been the single most influential musical style/genre etc. since the blues (by a considerable distance) why is it so underrepresented? Not sure why I'm trying to attach worth this list or owt but... y'know. |
