An update on some of my favourite bands from the new music thread. The Felines have released a follow up to their Daddy Walk 45. It's a four track ep on Sound Flat records called A Man Stuck In Your Mind and is highly recommended. The Mokkers have released a debut 45 called Indians on Off Label records. Well worth seeking out. The Excitements play their debut UK gig on Thursday May 2nd at The Floridita in London. I'm looking forward to this immensely. The Neasden Bees are playing in Brighton at The Green Door Store tonight (Saturday). They're really good live. Las Vinylators have teamed up with Bob Urh of the Ultra 5 for a rather good new 45 on green Cookie records. |

...also Girl One & The Grease Gun who Trev added to the new music thread have a new single (reviewed by Ged on the main site). It's well worthy of their recommendations. |

I like it more than most of their other stuff, but I am a bit of a sucker for that late 70s DIY electronica sound. |
