There seems to be an attempt online to find records that still sound great when played at the wrong speed. Obviously works best when uptempo 45 records by women are played at 33. Here's the best I've heard so far, Jolene by Dolly: |

I've got an AC Acoustics white label, the A-side is at 33 by the B-side is 45. It doesn't say this anywhere so I'd been playing the B-side at 33 and it sounded fine! It was an instrumental though. This is purely anecdotal as I have no recording of it... |

I had a remix by Slam of The Sandals Track Feet which I always played at 33rpm. It sounded great. Then a few years later I realised it was the wrong speed - It didn't sound so good! |
