Group 1 is crap, but for the sake of it French Onion & Chicken. The goodies are in Group 2, (or didn't make it through) but Leek & Potato and Spicy Lentil |

btw it's 'Leek and Potato'. 'Potato and Leek' is just wrong. A bit like the neon sign you can just about make out in the photo below, which grates with its wrongness every time I see it lit up. |

Just seen Bovine and SPT heading for the canteen on a soup date, to stitch up the Soup World Cup (or am I just stirring?). Ladbrokes have stopped taking bets on a tomato v spicy lentil final. |

Bov and I couldn't agree, leek and potato should be a shoo-in but he's not having it. We both went for cream of onion today. Nice. We did note the surprising number of poncy soups in the out of competition faves above. Wh'd have thunk we had such sophisticates on board. |
