As it was her Birthday on August 10th I'll take this week's top 5 slot as the other promised list has failed to materialise... Any songs that feature Ronnie in any way apart from Be My Baby because that's just too obvious and everyone agrees it's a good tune. 1) The Ronettes - Keep On Dancing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92oVEsfihd0 2) The Ronettes - Baby I Love You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBaa-cAJRyI 3) The Raveonettes Feat Ronnie Spector - Ode To LA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbrfFHVY0JY 4) The Ronettes - Do I Love You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJG8WlPM-pU 5) The Ronettes - Here I Sit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-QMXjd-Ltw Interesting fact - (I think) Here I Sit is the only Ronettes track with male vocals on it. (Except perhaps some of the Buddha and Colpix stuff, but they were mostly as Ronnie & The Relatives then anyway apart from two singles...) |

No Ronnie Spector list is complete without Walking In The Rain. I also love I Wish I Never Saw The Sunshine and, from the early days, You Bet I Would. |

The Ronettes version is my favourite, but the original by The Rays is pretty fine too. |

Thinking about it - You Came You Saw You Conquered has male vocals on it. But that was later and was a Ronnie solo track in all but name anyway. |

Not sure you can stipulate a top 5 and deliberately exclude a song which may or may not be their best. Anyway mine are highly predictable but then they're amongst the best records produced by anybody imho Walking in the Rain Be My Baby Do I Love You? I Wonder Is This What I Get For Loving You Baby |

Well Be My Baby is so ubiquitous that I just thought it would make it more interesting to omit it. I don't know anyone who doesn't like it, so if everyone's being honest it would be in 99% of the top 5s anyway... |

Another point - I think I've actually grown to prefer The Crystals version of I Wonder. |
