I'm fairly indifferent to his music, but thought the film about him was somewhat disingenuous in that it never mentions the fact that the whole time he was being believed dead in South Africa and was largely forgotten in the US, he had a very successful music career in New Zealand and Australia, touring there more than once. |

I love the 1st LP but not the 2nd so much. This however http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bk3Z7H4hF8 is a thing of beauty. I saw him at the Roundhouse last year & he was brilliant. Mostly blind it seems. Wearing sunglasses everywhere can't help though. He covered "Like A Rolling Stone" for the encore. He's making/made a new LP. Hmmmm. |
