Anyone been here (it's on Stoke Newington Rd, Dalston)? King Khan's playing there Thursday. Tempted but not sure if it's one of those silly places where the headliner comes on at 11pm or later, which would be useless for a south London monkey like me. Also any decent beer there? |

Only been there once (for Hunx & His Punx). Think the live music finished by 11pm that night. PA seemed to be a little inadequate and not a great venue for short people, unless you're right near the front. Otherwise it's alright and as King Khan & BBQ rarely play together in the UK, it's got to be worth a visit on Thursday. I'll certainly be there. |

Don't like it. Crap view if you're not in the front 10 rows. Sounds been ok when I went. Bloody expensive for beer, too. I drank some bottled pale ale kinda thing called Hackney something or other. It was just shy of a fiver, I think. |

You should have gone BJ. The venue was packed, sweltering and uncomfortable, the view wasn't great unless you were near the front and the PA was pushed to it's capacity, compromising the quality of the sound (leaving my hearing quite fucked); but King Khan & BBQ rose above it all and were absolutely magnificent. |

Nice toilets too. Yes done up like the proverbial. I won't mention how much the craft beer in cans cost. They must be doing something right as the place was rammed all night! |
