They're rubbish, and they've been the same for too long, and they should change/upgrade more often (less posts stuck as 'whacky dude on the banjo' or whatever), and one of them uses the phrase 'lady beard', and they don't reflect the guru-like pop-culture knowledge that the SXP forums can (at times) boast, and more than anything else - I resent being 'Kev's Growler Tester'. The forum got updated, the website got updated - surely, it's time for these superfluous anachronisms* to get the heave-ho? *no offence intended to Milchy, this was just my way of describing the tagline system. |

They're just a bit of fun. But maybe we could all have specific ones that we decide ourselves instead if some people don't like them. |

I see Bovey's been at a few of the taglines with his (lady) garden shears... I propose that I be given the sole honour/duty of providing taglines on an individual basis for every regular(ish) poster. I'm not a mod, so I will be like an 'outside' hitman. I will hold no mod powers at all and will provide my tagline blessings/curses via PM to Bovey or Anarchy. Given that I hold no mod power, my own tagline will be completely out of my control. If the powers that be deem this experiment worthy of trial, just PM me a list of the 20 or so regulars and I'll begin... |
