Right - a bit of forward planning. I've got to be down in London overnight on 8 & 9th of Jan and 16 & 17 Feb. Any good gigs on? Is there a decent Londony gig guide I could consult? |

There's a couple of the early HD albums I love and there's always at least one top toe-tapper on the more recent albums. Last time I saw them I got shitfaced, wrongly thought someone I recognised was Skinny James and hallooed him accordingly, and generally remember nothing about the Dune, hence the lack of review. The man who was not Skinny James turned out to be someone whose wedding I'd been to 10 years previously (as well as going out for a few meals with) as Mrs SPT was friends with his wife - they'd subsequently split up and he was there with his new gf. I'd like to say I handled the faux pas with grace and tact, but I suspect I didn't. In mitigation, he couldn't place me either. I also blethered at one of Smokers Die Younger I think. There's a reason I don't venture out that much any more. I shall be sober in the new year however - have to be compos mentis the following day as I will be running the rule over the finest young minds of a generation. |

and cheers frot he links Milchy - had forgotten Songkick. Makes things harder though. Alex Neilsen at Cafe Oto might tempt me away from the Lexington... As for Feb - Luke Haines on the 17th and I'm tempted by Daemonia Nymphae on the 16th. |
