Only room for 12 on the poll. Would've like to include: Bar Fly, Camden Birthdays, Dalston Ryans Bar, Stoke Newington The Others, Stoke Newington The Old Queens Head 12 Bar Club Which venues are missing? Best venue for me, is a mixture of facilities, sound, booking policy, feel etc. It's not a clinical thing. I voted Power Lunches but recognise it's not the best for beer choice or facilities - but I find the place has a great attitude to live music, the new PA sounds great and they consistently book bands I want to go and see.... |

The only two London venues I really like are The Lexington & The Windmill; voted for the former. Can't believe someone voted for Power Lunches; poor sound, poor sight-lines and an absolute sauna in the summer. |

Love the Windmill but voted for the Sebright because the beer is sooooo good. |

Don't mind The Stag's Head too much. |

Power Lunches was recently voted worst venue in London by my gig going mates (and me), it does have good bands on but it is dreadful. I will vote for the Sebright mainly because its close to home and does nice beer. |

So the most important thing in a venue is that it does good beer? ![]() Really? I can see why many won't like Power Lunches but very few venues are great at everything - honourable mentions from me would go to the Buffalo Bar, The Windmill and The Lexington. But PL books more bands I want to see, hence it got my vote! Sebright Arms is really hit and miss and depends on who is promoting. Tim at The Windmill consistently books good bands, so kudos there. The Lexington tend to get a lot of US touring bands and does well with homegrown too. |

The Sebright, along with The Miller is one of the two venues mentioned that I've not been to. Will have to check it out. |

you only asked what my favourite was, the Sebright doesnt have that much to make me go but everything else about it is good. When I see someone is playing the Sebright I perk up, when I see they're playing power lunches I groan. |
