I like the Temples album - in fact I reviewed it on here I think - but I'm surprised it's #1. The Elephant album is way to far down. But not a bad list despite at least a couple of my probable top 5 not featuring at all. |

Always a bit confused as to what Rough Trade's criteria is based on and who votes for it. Pretty sure Temples will be the only band from Kettering to ever hit the top of it though. Mate of mine used to be in a band with the frontman years ago. They were shite. Really shite. Don't think much of Temples neither. |

Think this may be the first year since the mid 70s that I haven't bought a single new release LP. Partly straitened finances, but looking at these lists, I'm not entirely sure I'm missing out. Admittedly, quite a lot I'm unfamiliar with but only Sleaford Mods & Leonard Cohen stand out as something I might have bought had I the money. Have got Ye Nuns LP, but didn't have to buy that. |
