Where's the best place to get a cheap, short run of 7"s? And how much can you sell a 7" for with it still being a fair price? And also, how much music can a 7" really hold at 45rpm? Thanks in advance. |

How short a run? Most places will do 250. A few places will do 100 if you ask nicely - but they come in at about £4.25 per unit before taking sleeves into account. I'd recommend: http://www.discmanufacturingservices.com/ http://breedmedia.co.uk/ £5 is a fair price for a 7" these days. About 6 minutes on each side at 45rpm - but less (say 5 minutes 30 seconds or under) if you are worried about a dip in sound quality. |

and PS - be prepared to wait 12-16 weeks from payment to actually get your mitts on the records..... |

Thanks a lot, Trev, much appreciated. 12-16 weeks!!! Cripes. Ideally I wanna do a run of a hundred with printed sleeves, not worried about making money but I wanna break even. I've emailed Breed Media so fingers crossed. |

Also the unit cost above doesn't factor in test pressings - which I usually skip these days. |

Yeah I think I'd skip test pressings as well. Have you ever done a run of 100 sleeves with that printing company, Trev? If so, do you remember how much? |
