Seems Bony's new contract in November was purely a tool to remove his £19 million release clause....
Apparently it cost us a million to get an extra £9 million.

Bony to City for £30 million. They're getting him cheap and he won't play much. We'll take the money though and invest it wisely. |

£25m I've read. He'll be second choice behind Aguero but unlike Chelsea we often play with two strikers so there's a good chance he'll be involved a lot of the time. Jovatic and Dzeko are the two that are likely to warm benches (or physio tables) |

So how does signing a £25m or £30m fit in within UEFA's financial fair play rules aside from a slap on the wrist in the shape of one less player to choose from in the Champions League? |

Not sure of how UEFA calculate their rules but I guess they'll either make the deal payable over a period or allow us to claim some of it back through sales - Nastasic and Sinclair are leaving and will recoup about £12m |

Re Forest - Transfers are permitted on a one-in-one-out basis provided the incoming player is on less than 75% of the outgoing players salary and his wages are below the £11500 threshold. (Yes I got my WSC today) |

Ah ok. Do you not think you'll bring in another striker as well? Gomis scoring rate (through his whole career) isn't close to Bony's, not that he won't excel as the main man - I hope he does, as I like Swansea. |
